    Unanswered: Percent help

    This seems simple but having problems. strEV1 represents the number of OK accounts. StrAvail represents the total number of accounts. I want to divide strEV1 by strAvail to determine the percentage of OK accounts. The code works but the text only displays a "5" instead of "58%" (67 "OK" accounts/115 total accounts). How do I format this to display the percentage correctly?

    strEV1 = "" & DCount("[accountnumber]", "Information", "[LoanDisposition] = 'OK")

    CalcEv1 = Val(strEV1) / Val(strAvail)

    CalcEv1 = Format(CalcEv1, "Percent")

    Have you tried formating the control instead of the data?
