    Exclamation Unanswered: Urgent in need of help

    hey guys this is really urgent and i hope all experts out there can help me with this

    i have recently post a thread asking how to plot a graph with the values obtain from Excel spreadsheet...i have been getting very few response so i would like to ask all expert out there to help me out here

    hi.. i hope this will explain my misery better to all the expert out there... basically i want to open an excel spreadsheet of my choice from VB that have two columns with nos on them... can be a a nos with decimal as well.. as show below


    and then with a click of the button (eg: plot graph) , it will generate a graph with x and y axis.. with the specific values being plot out as shown below..

    ploting column A against Coulmn B..

    hope it will be clearer to all the expert out there

    Excel will do that graph for you. Just open the Excel sheet with VB and send it the code to insert the graph in the sheet.

    I am not an expert, but I did some Excel manipulations using the VBEditor from Excel itself [Tools > Macro > VB Editor] or [Alt-F11]. From there
    you can create the buttons and events that you need for generating
    the graph... You can also "record" the macro if you need guidance, just like
    tuenty said.

    have u tried to record the macro and see the code???

    here are the steps to record a macro and see its code

    and here is the result, the code that should serve as a guide
