Unanswered: Mailing a report with formatting

When trying to mail a report, I get given several document type options, all of which either do not work or lose any formatting I have done.
Is there anyway to Mail the report as a Microsoft Word Document?

    Cheers

You can output your report as a Word document, and it will retain most of the formatting. You can also output it to a PDF file if you have the software, thereby allowing anyone with the Acrobat Reader (and who doesn't have that).

However, I prefer to output my reports as Access Snapshots and then e-mail them. They retain all of the formatting, the output is built into Access, and the Snapshot Viewer is a free download for the recipient. Check out this link: http://www.microsoft.com/accessdev/p...o/snapshot.htm

Have you tried the rtf format, Acrobat writer is nice, but it costs. rtf export does what we require for including extracts of reports into word reports

If you don't want to pay for Acrobat, try using Cute PDF writer. It sits as a printer in Windoze, and the best thing - it's freeware for both private and commercial use!!!

    Can be downloaded from
    http://www.acrosoftware.com/download/CuteWriter.exe

I actually had more luck with this than the Acrobat distiller anyway!
