    Remove spaces from filenames

    Hi,
Not sure where to post this question ....so I'll try here.

    Using Windows XP Pro.

I have a directory of several hundred files. They have long filenames which include spaces. I need to remove the spaces from the filenames without going through them one at a time.

Any suggestions?? Thank you very much in advance.

    It's ok, I've solved it.

Used a couple of good old fashioned DOS batch files. (Made me feel old though when someone asked "What's DOS?"
    Thank you,
    James
