    Unanswered: Horizontal tab control?

Does anyone know whether its possible with Access 97 through ActiveX or however to have a tab control with the tabs down the side instead of along the top? If not, can anyone think of a good work-around?

I lookded for a way of doing this myself for sometime to no avail. If you find something please let me know. Of course a data access page could do something similiar using frames.

I've found the Microsoft TabStrip ActiveX control is a good substitute. Read an example on how to use it here http://www.it-faq.pl/mskb/155/646.HTM. The only problem is that is displays the text on the tabs vertically and not horizontally as how it would of wished!

There's nothing to stop you faking it, place a plain gray rectangle, with control buttons on the left had side, and set which controls are visible programaticaly

Ie make which ever controls visible /invisible depending on which button is pressed

Seems a lot of work though
