Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to do some word utomation. I have been trying to create my reports in word from access using vba but i keep hitting on problems. I've been looking around the net for some tutorials on the vba commands that control word but i cant get anything to work properly. I have been trying this tutorial http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=210271 without much luck, it is probably not working because it is for word 97. When i get to the command :
Set objWord = CreateObject("Word.Application")
i get the error :
-2147024770 Automation Error, Specified module could not be found
does anyone have any advice on how to get this working with office xp?

Go into the VB editor inside of Access. Click on Tools on the menu bar, select references and look for Microsoft Word 9.0 (or whichever one you find, the # could be higher) and check the box. This should solve your problem
