Unanswered: select clob datatype column in DB2

    Guys,
I am new to DB2. I am trying to select a CLOB object in DB2. The data in the field is about 25MG. When I do a simple select on that column, I am seeing only 32K of data. The remaining data is getting truncated. I am sure there has to be a command in DB2 which you can set to increase the size of the clob datatype. May someone please guide me in the right direction.

    Appreicate all of your help.

    Thanks
    Kid

This actually doesn't have anything to do with the size of a CLOB datatype. DB2 has a 32K restriction on the size of a string literal.

To retrieve the entire CLOB you could either export it with LOBSINFILE option or write a little program that would access the CLOB and do with it whatever it is you need.
