    Thumbs up Unanswered: how to use sybase anywhere??

    i'm a sybase database file..But i don't know how to connect this file(database)..Can u give me some thread about it??

    are you talking about ASA or ASE? Which version?

    If it's Sybase Central with ASA on the connection dialog you specify your uid/pwd, then click on the database tab and then chose your database file.

    It will start the server for you.

    Hi,memery.THx for your reply..I talk about ASA 8.0..
    Now,i have some file worked with ASA 8.0..How can i connect it??
    Your meaning is using sybase central??

    could you also explain what you mean by "i'm a sybase database file"
    sorry...had to say that....

    yes..you can use sybase central to point to this file and if you have the uid/pwd, you are sorted...
