    Unanswered: Subform/continuous subform

    How do I place a subform on a form?. I have a form which shows name address etc but I want individual record to be displayed to show when the person made a telephone call, time etc. It needs to be a continous subform to show all calls made. Access handles this easy is there a way to do subforms in Vb6 without purchasing 3rd party bits!.

    Ok, I am pretty new to VB, so others may have a much better solution than this, but here goes anyway :-

    Create controls at designtime that are control arrays, such as txtNumberCalled(0) etc.

    Create a Do-While Loop that populates these at runtime such as

    iCount = 0
    Do Until recordset.EOF
    If iCount <> 0 Then
    Load txtNumberCalled(iCount)
    txtNumberCalled(iCount).Top = txtNumberCalled(iCount - 1).Top + txtNumberCalled(iCount - 1) + iSpacer 'Where iSpacer = number of twips space you want between each row
    txtNumberCalled(iCount).Visible = True
    End If
    txtNumberCalled(iCount) = recordset("NumberCalled")
    iCount = iCount + 1

    Hope this helps
