Unanswered: Drop down field showing all records

Does anyone know the filter to make sure that a drop down menu shows only the data relevant to the current record.

I have a DB with two subforms, one showing the donors and another showing the results of the test.

The results subform should look up names from the subform, which it does without any problems, via a query which also joins the first and last names together. Only thing is that it shows ALL the names as opposed to the ones on the current record (usually about three or four).

    Anyone got a solution?

I have an idea of how to do this but I'm not entirely sure of how your system works.

What is the parent form called.

What are the two subforms called.

what is the joining field between these forms.
    (parent - sub1)
    (parent - sub2)
    (sub 1 - Sub2)

    (parent - sub2)
    (sub 1 - Sub2)

    Main Client details > Case_number
    Donors details > sub_case_number
Powerplex details > Stats linked to DC

Case_number is an autonumber generated by the Main Client details it then appears automatically in the sub form Donors details

The Powerplex details form is another sub database under the Main Client details.

The "Alleged father", etc details are from a drop down menu, but they are then put into another database. What i need is to restrict these names to the current form details.

    Hope this is clear
