    Unanswered: Quick PL/SQL Q

    Hi All. Just a quick Q...Within a procedure....

    If i do something like..

    SELECT c_GROUP_NAME FROM GROUPS WHERE ID = 18 returning c_GROUP_NAME into v_GROUPS;

    If v_GROUPS is my OUT variable, can I only have one value v_GROUPS? Im assuming that is a yes, Ijust want confirmation on that. Is there anyway I can ouput an array?

    It would be something like:
    Code:
    SELECT c_group_name BULK COLLECT INTO v_groups
    FROM groups
    WHERE id = 18;

    What you should research is PL/SQL array and/or refcursors to accomplish what you are attempting.
