    Question Unanswered: Textbox date error displays #Name?#

    Hi all, newbie here. I am creating an Access database and on the form I have a text box called txtDate with the control source set to:

    =Date()

    On my machine it works fine but on my friends computer it displays the date as #Name?#

    Any ideas why this might occur, I am not missing any references and what reference should be used? I looked in the object browser in VBA and I have no missing references.

    Thanking you all in advance

    Try =now()

    I can't explain why that works, but I've encountered the same situation.
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
