Question Unanswered: Tool in SQL for Backup of some columns

    Hi ...

I really need a tool that doesn't make a backup of all content of my database, and I don't want a script with just a schema of it.
I want a backup of just some columns and the data that has in them.
I know that It has a tool, but I never heard about it, and It's too important, so much that now I'm needing.

    Anyone knows something?

you can use DTS and base a transfer on a query or use replication based on a view but that would simply move the data somewhere else and it would'nt create a BAK file. If you DTS you won't really be capturing all of the objects like logins and stored procedures. If you use replication you can capture all of the objects and then run the backup from your subscriber.
“If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.
