    Unanswered: How to return a resultset from a stored function ?

    Hello everyone,

    I was wondering if I could use PL/SQL stored functions so as to get results from select queries from an OCCI client app, so that I could change the queries in the future without modifying the client (provided they return the same sort of records, of course). It would also be easier to test and tune queries on the server. However, I don't know how I could return the result of the query (or part of it, not every row) to the client app : what type of PL/SQL variable should I return (VARRAY ? If so, VARRAY of what ?), and how would I recognize the structure in my client app, ie what OCCI datatype would I match the resultset to ? Is it possible at all ?
