    Unanswered: Managing Oracle 9i services

    Hello,
    I've read an artice - Manage Oracle9i services under Windows by Scott Stephens and i have'nt understood clearly how to make the batch jobs for the startup and shutdown of database. Could somebody please tell me how?

    Windows should do this automagically.
    Open SERVICES and set the ORACLE listener and sid to auto-start.

    Yes, windows do it automatically or one can set manual from the services.
    well, without going through graphical interface how would i do mentioned in the article.
