    client connect

probably you have used as system name (in cc) a name that is not known
    it should be
    - the ip address of target server
    - known hostname
    - entry in hosts file in client station pointing to ip of target server
    This should do (I hope)

    Hi,

I am using the correct hostname.
but when i enter the system name it is not taking full name as there is limit on the field size for system name field.

and when i give ip address in place of system name it is giving that error.

do we need to have entry in the host file for the target server?
I was able to configure database using configuration assistant but still getting error while adding node thru control center.

    ur help is appreciated.
