    Unanswered: data importing

    Hi,
What is the easiest and quickest way to import data from foxpro to oracle?
    Thanks for the help.
    Regards,
    Harshal.

It all depends. If the move is a one time only thing, then import the table using excel, save it as a flat delimited file file, then use sql loader or external table to load it into an oracle table.

I had to do this once.

FoxPro could export to MS Access, so I used that internal tool to export
the FoxPro db into an Access db. From there, it was pretty easy to import
into Oracle using the ODBC drivers. I recommend that you attempt to
download the latest ODBC drivers, but you could probably get away with
    whatever is on your machine.

Through ODBC, importing to Oracle is almost automated (watch out for
strange column-definitions from Access to Oracle however).
