Hi All,

1. I had built Apache2.0.52 on AIX5.1 machine with statically built-in SSL support. i.e., "--enable-ssl=static" option while building apache.

2. Also, In order to integrate mod_jk1.2.6 with the apache and tomcat, I had built in on the same machine.

3. When tried, Apache with SSL support seems to work perfectly. But when mod_jk is enabled in the httpd.conf file, then core dump occurs.

The error message I get on the console is "Segmentation fault(core dump)".

When checked through some sites, I came to knew that upto "gcc 2.95" could not be used to build shared libraries. So, I tried using the latest version of gcc, "gcc 3.3.4".

Now, while executing the following commands from $JK_HOME/jk/native directory:

./configure
make

The configure command was successful, but make command failed abruptly.
