There is a welcome.html under disk1... choose the documentation tab... then
to the Oracle Database Installation Guide

    thanks a lot.
but then now the problem is that, when i started install, everything runs well.
however, when the setup moves to the halfway, a message box appeared and prompt me to insert DISK 2 to continue.
it requires me to select a file.

however, what file should i selected to continue the installation?
hope someone can anwer my problem.
    thank you.

You should see the path in this window. It leads you to a file "products.jar" on Disk1. For example, it looks like this:

    C:\Oracle\OracleDeveloperSuite10g90401_Disk1\Disk1 \stage

To continue the installation, the easiest way is to change "Disk1" into "Disk2" in this path; this should work. Or, use the "Browse" button to find the new path.

    this is the problem now.
i browsed the files under Disk 2 but then i don see the files named "products.jar".
so, i need the file to continue the installation for Disk 2.
however, i don't know which is the right file.
    thank you for helping...

Right. There is no "products.jar" in the STAGE folder on Disk2. Did you actually change Disk1 into Disk2 and try to continue installation?

    finally, i had installed Oracle.
but then, this time the installation did not prompt me to insert Disk2.
but before that, it will require me to do so.
    sounds weird to me...
anyway, thanks to everybody that helps me a lot.

    I apologize... I stand corrected
9.2.0.1 release was 3 disks, 1 client disk and 1 doc disk.
I have since been downloading patches 9.2.0.5, 9.2.0.6, etc ...
and I have not looked at pulling a NEW installation release ..

    thats why i am surprising...
the installation do not prompt me to insert any disk to continue.
before that, it will require me to insert Disk 2 to continue the installation at the half way.
