    Unanswered: Primary Key Based Oids

Guys can anyone provide me with a website or a snippet of code to set the Object Identifier (OID) as the Primary Key of a table so that when one table REFs (references) another, it is referring to the Primary Key and not to the System Generated OID.

    Thanks very much!!!

Make up your mind, what will it be:

    1) You want to set the OID to be the "primary key"
    2) You want to reference this "primary key" from another table.
    3) You do not want this reference to be the OID.

What you actually need is to create "UNIQUE" indexes on the columns you wish to reference.
