Question Unanswered: How to grab prompt values

I have a report query that prompts for a date range (Between [Start Date] and [End Date]).

How can I display the entered start date and end dates on the report that is generated?

The easy way would be to have a form that asks for the start and end date, then take those field values but I don't want to do that. I just want to know how to get the prompt dialogue box values and display them on the report.

    Thanks in advance.

    Tam

Why not? It would be completely transparent to the user and solves your problem the "easy" way, as you say.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

Create a text box on the report. Set the control source to = [StartDate] or whatever your parameter name is. Do the same for the end date.

Thank you for that....I had totally forgotten about adding the parameters and even then had to make sure they matched the query condition cause I had added [StartDate (yyyy/mm/dd)] into it. It works perfectly now. Beauty.
