    Unanswered: XML -> Recordset

    I have used a library developed within our company IT dept. This downloads correctly but only provides a method to view the returned XML as a string.

    Does anyone know of an Access function that could convert this into a DAO recordset? If not - are there any other ways I can get the XML string into a table format?

    Thanks

    Read this:
    http://databasejournal.com/features/...le.php/3310901

    It's not a full solution, but there's good stuff here.

    I'd recommend going through it even if you weren't in search of a method for importing xml, it's fairly interesting.
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    I thought ADO, rather than DAO, was inended to be the weapon of choice for dealing with disparate data sources such as XML? Never used XML in an Access projected so can't be certain.....
