    Unanswered: Complex Report based on Months

    Hi :

    I have to produce a report in MsAccess. Basically the user will Enter the Year and Starting Part Number and Ending PartNumber on form , then the report will be displayed with Part Number, Description and Production sales based on Months in that Entered Year. meaning jan, feb march and april . How to achieve this in MS Access Report?

    by passing the report a parameter containing the reporting year you want
    base the report on a query, and set the report grouping to month

    I didnot understand that . Passing the year toi query is fine but how to accumulate totals sales for each month based on that year in that query?

    Here is the query should look like


    Product Number, Description, Jan(totalsales of january based on year entered), Feb...., March... and so on.

    Thats is what im tryingto achieve . any help would be appreciated thank you
