Question Unanswered: Crosstabs - Percentages coming out as integers

    Using Crystal Reports Developer 10

I have a crosstab report. The crosstab is counting numbers of records. It shows number of records, and percentage of total number of records for that row. The values are correct, but the percentage can only be displayed as an integer, presumably because the two counts are also integers. I need to get 1 decimal place. I tried formatting the field, but Crystal keeps changing the format back again. I could create a formula for the percentage calculation, but can't figure out what the field names WITHIN the crosstab would be.

Smile Found a solution through SQL

In the end I just added a field in the stored procedure that supplies data to the report. The field always contains 1.0. This let me switch from counting records to summing the contents of the field. Since the sums are floats, Crystal automatically provides the percentage as a float.

I would still like to know how to access contents of cells within the crosstab if anyone knows the answer to that!
