Unanswered: connect to foxpro tabel with ADO.net

I have 2 files (web.dbf, web.cdx) that another source is creating. I need to read these into a simple VB.Net console app and put the results in an SQLServer database...the second half is easy enough, but ive never dealt with FoxPro or any sort of database that isn't set up as a traditional server (can i even access foxpro tables directly from those files, or do i need to install foxpro? the production box has it, but not my dev box.)....

I have tried creating numerous DSN's and connection strings and have gotten a wide variety of errors from "table is in an incorrect format" to "Microsoft has updated Visual Foxpro driver to Visual Foxpro driver"

can anyone point me in the right direction to get started on reading this table into my app?

    thanks
