Unanswered: SQL Server 2000 vs. SQL Server 2000 Development version

I am a freelance programmer and just picked up a client that has an instance of SQL Server. I just need to know if the Developer edition (I've seen it as low as $49) will function adequately for me to test the application I'm writing.

The test environment will be 2 PC's, 'A' running the server and 'B' the one I'm writing the software on. I need to configure comp 'A' to mirror the client's WAN and how various client's comps will access the database with the application I'm writing on comp 'B'. I don't need a full-blown liscense for the database, as I won't be keeping it after production is finished. I just need one I can connect to and configure for development testing without having to develope the software on-site.

    lol..

Nevermind. I didn't even look to see that they offer a 4-month evaluation version of SQL server. :P That's more than enough time.
