Question Unanswered: Unable to write the character

I'm trying to input the character in a field in a MS SQL Server Table.
However the following error occurs when trying to input the Enterprice manager: The value you entered is not consistent with the data type or length of the column.
When I try to update the field data via Query Analyser the character ? is dispalyed instead of the character both in Enterprice Manager and Query Analyser.
    Any ideas?
Should I Install the MS SQL Server with some other languade options since this a character is used in Bulgaria? Is there something can I do without having to reinstall the MS SQL Server??

    Best Regards,

Are both the value and the column you're trying to insert it into able to handle unicode (NCHAR, NVARCHAR, or NTEXT), or do both have a Bulgarian collation?
