    Unanswered: SQLSERVER Parameter

    I have change the lock_timout value with the command set lock timeout nn
    but when in stop/start the instance i lost my new value.
    How can i do to change definitively the value.

    The value set by SET LOCK_TIMEOUT only affects the current session. I don't know of any way to set it globally, or permanently. I think that you'll need to modify your client code to specify it each and every time you make a new database connection.
