Unanswered: Copy info to next sheet

We do floor systems. We make samples for customers with different colors.
Many times we make 3 or 4 samples at a time. Is there a way I can copy all the data I just entered onto the next form? I don't want the colors to go to the new page, just the main information, like Customer, Name, Sample Number, Size of Sample, etc. etc.
I know I can type Ctrl ' in each cell, but it would be more convenient to just copy all the data from the main form to the next new form.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Michael

Depending on how exactly you want the work flow to go I could think of several ways to accomplish this.
Easiest way seems to be to use a main form and a subform. Have the information you want to keep in the main and the sample information in the sub.

    My 2 cents anyway.

It uses the same form. For example:

The main form has info like the following:
    Sample ID: JON-201
    Customer: Jones
Address: 123 Here lane, etc. (much more info on the page)

    Sample ID: RED-201
    Customer: Redmon
Address: 123 There lane, etc. (much more info on the page)

    Sample ID: FOW-201
    Customer: Fowler
Address: 123 Where lane, etc. (much more info on the page)

I would like to add another sample for Fowler now,and have the next record automatically enter FOW-202, Fowler, 123 Where lane, etc. etc.

There is a subform to enter color information, I do not need this info to transfer to the next record. Since I want it to be different colors anyway.

    Thank You,
    Michael

If I need to zip it and send it, I can!!

I am sorry I guess i need more caffiene but I am uncertain what the problem is. It sounds like you a main form with the information you wish to keep and a subform that has the information that changes.
    Is this correct ?
If so why not go to a new record in the subform? You can put the sample ID in the subform also.
For the sample ID take off the numbers use VB to add 1 to the ID.
    OR
Have a button "Make another sample for this customer" and ONClick does a form refresh on the subform.

There are many other ways to accomplish the same task.

I have attached the file so you can see what I am talking about

Go back to BIO-213 the last record. I would like all information of BIO-213 to go a new record (Not the colors in the subform). Where I am in the SampleNumber control BIO-213, I will change it manually to 214, no problem. I just want all the same information to go to the next record.

    Hope this is more clear!

Just use the wizard and create a button control to duplicate the record, and use an event when the new record is created to blank out the color.

You should also have a color table that should be the look up value for that field so you can have a drop down..
