    Unanswered: photos link into form

    i have a form which people put in info on films i want them to put in a foto of the film, but i dont want to put the photo into the table i just want to link it to the record and be able to display it when they view it in the form when they pick that record.

    you can drop a image component into your form and keep the image path and name in a table field. then assign that path/name to image's Picture property whe needed (usually in current event of the form)

    how do i get them to look for the file when found put the path into a table

    i also need to put the photos into a report

    i got both to work now.

    now how do i get the photo into a report

    i have a table with the path of the photo i want to put the photo into a report can this be done

    I have no experience doing this with a report but have an idea for it. I think you can do same thing you have done with displaying images in a form with a path/filename method above. but instead using the Current Event of the form, you might try to use OnFormat Event of the Report's detail section. that should do the job. yet again I never tried this. I hope it works.
