Unanswered: reduce tablespace size in DB2 version 7

    Hi,
    I'm new to DB2.
    We're using DB2 verion 7.
How I can reduce the size of a tablespace?
    Thanks

I guess it is DMS you are asking about and assume you have overallocated space .. In that case, you will have to backup and restore the tablespace ...

Let me know if my assumption is not correct

But if I do a backup/restore how do I specify that the size of the tablespace has to be reduced?

Sorry, I missed to mention .. It is a redirected restore ... Search the DB2 Developer Domain for a step-by-instruction for the same ...
For DB2 Develioer Domain link, see the Useful DB2 Stuff Thread
