    Unanswered: SQL1225N error

    Hi All,

    Iam using DB2 8.1 version on solaris.When iam trying to describe table iam getting the SQL1225N error,can anybody help me in this matter will be appreciated..

    Check the Messages and Codes manual. SQL errors are in vol 2. You can download the PFD version free (see Useful DB2 Stuf thread for a link).

    db2 => ? SQL1225N


    SQL1225N The request failed because an operating system process,
    thread, or swap space limit was reached.

    Explanation:

    An operating system process, thread, or swap space limit was
    reached. You can find more information about the problem in the
    administration notification log. On AIX systems, the maxuproc
    value might be too low. On OS/2-based systems, the THREADS
    CONFIG.SYS value might be too low.

    User Response:

    Check the administration notification log to determine which
    limit was reached and increase that limit.

    sqlcode : -1225

    sqlstate : 57049

    db2 =>

    And now you know how to get the explanation for error messages ..

    Thanks for the help.. i know how to check the error messages.But how to resolve this....any help...
