    Unanswered: Startup Options

    Greetings,

my database is up and running, thanks to eveyone in the forum that helped me to get to this stage. In an attempt to curb idle thumbs I would like to disable toolbars in TOOLS-STARTUP. My question is if I do this how do I change the settings back if I need to do so at a latter date? Or to put it another way how do I reinstate the toolbars once they are disabled?

    Thanks

Hold down shift while opening and it will bypass the startup options, showing all menus.

    Hope this helps,

Togsie - the next thing you need to do is disable the Left Shift key, so that users can't press it down and et into all your code and mess it up (believe me they will).

    Good luck ....

An effective way of doing that is to deploy the app as an MDE rather than an MDB, then they acan try all they like and still not change anything.
