    Unanswered: Check or query number of connections

    How to check or count number of connetions or agents. I need these information to see how many connections/process are establisehd to DB2 by the applications. DB2 version is V8.1.

    You can do a GET SNAPSHOT FOR APPLICATIONS. See the Command Reference for syntax details.

    You can also submit this from a command prompt:

    db2 list applications show detail
    M. A. Feldman
    IBM Certified DBA on DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows
    IBM Certified DBA on DB2 for z/OS and OS/390

    Alternate command

    If you want to check the number of connections per database you can use the command LIST ACTIVE DATABASES.

    Look for the field: Applications connected currently
