    Question Unanswered: Date displays something like #Name?

    I am facing some strange error. One of my report in ms access have Report Date textbox which displays Report Date (Current Date).
    This is working fine at our end (in India). But it is not showing to some of users in Canada.
    ReportDate displays something like #Name?
    I have checked all the settings but could not successes.
    Following properties were used in textbox
    Name : txtReportDate
    Control Source : =Date()
    Format : mmmm dd yyyy

    Please response.

    if nothing has chanegd in the code between your Indian & Canadaian versions, then it sounds like a library, or reference is missing. I'd suggest you ensure the references are identical, or at least similar

    I encountered same problem with some windows XP clieants. you can either use Now() instead of Date() to avoid that problem or you can upgrade MDAC to latest version on these particular clients. Second one did the trick for me. worth to try.
