Unanswered: Sybase: Setup the default database time

Is there a way to set-up the default database time in Sybase database? Our servers are at GMT time and we need the database time as US-EST...

    Any ideas???

    Thanks.

Set the clock at the operating system level. Sybase picks it up from there (it does not keep time zone info).

    Thanks

    Thanks Derek,

I have also called Sybase and they gave me the same solution. My problem is, there are other applications/databases running on the server and it's not possible to change the time on the server. I think, we can set the different time-zone in Oracle... thought there might be a way in Sybase too .....
