    Unanswered: Checkbox If statement help!

On my form I have 4 checkboxes - 2 on the left and 2 on the right.

I have it so that when I click 'cmd_exit' a message appears stating that all 4 are UNCHECKED and at least one from each side must be checked..

I have a IF function on the "on click event" so that if all the checkboxes are UNCHECKED the message appears. But I cannot work out how to get it to appear if one checkbox from either side IS NOT clicked.

Basically at least 2 checkboxes must be checked - at least one from either side.

The 2 checkboxes on the left are chk1 and chk2.
The 2 checkboxes on the right are chk3 and chk4.

Its driving me mad! any help?
