    Unanswered: Even Number Of Records

I have a subform that shows data in two columns. The data has lines around it and it looks odd if there are an odd number of records returned. So I looking for a way to add a blank record if there is an odd number of records returned. Anyone got any suggestions? Note, I will not know how many records will be returned and I have to show all of the records ( I can't return the Top N records, where N is less than the number of records).

You can use the MOD function on the number of records to determine if it is even or odd, then add a record if it is odd.

However, you might be able to get the visual effect you want on the report without creating "dummy records." An outline around your entire subreport should give you the visual balance you're looking for.

    Regards,
