    Unanswered: Open second form based on info in first.

    I would like to open a second form by clicking on a button in the first form and have the second form open based on data in the first. I have a select query that opens Form1 based on a prompt to input ParID. Inside Form1 I would like to open frmCUP based on the same ParID. Form1's record source is a query. However, frmCUP record source is a table called tblCUP.

    Example:

    When I click on Form1 I am prompted for a Parcel Number (i.e., ParID). I key in 123. It opens Form1 with data for ParID=123. Now I want to click on a button displayed in Form1 that will open frmCUP and display the data from tblCUP for ParID=123.

    Thanks,

    Is the ParID displayed anywhere on form1? If it does, under the open event of frmCUP, type in

    me.filter = "ParID = " & forms!form1!ParID

    Hope this helps.
