    Unanswered: VB6 / MySql Newbie

Right now I am pulling users out and putting them into a list box. This is the first time that I have done any db programming so I'm a little lost. I would like to be able to put each record into its own variable. I know I will have to create an array for it, but I am a little confused how I would go about putting each record into the variable..

    Hope this doesnt sound confusing.

    I appreciate the help.

I use "Redim Preserve" after initializing the array.. IE...

    ReDim Preserve ImpRepNewTeacher(ImpRepNewTeacherCount)

This way, your array is increased to the increased number of entries, and keeps the data already in the array. Not sure, but I think that's what you're talking about....

putting the data in the array is easy...

    ImpRepNewTeacher(IndexNum) = varTeacherName
