Red face Unanswered: Modify custom menu

I am using Access 97 and the application has a custom menu. I can get at the properties of the entire menu, but how can I look at and modify the existing menu. In particular, how do I look at the code in the menu and sub-menu items? Any help would be much appreciated.

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

    Bring Customize dialog.....Tools > Customize
Click on the menubar to open the submenu / right click on the menu/submenu to ge the properties of it.
Modifying Access default menu is not advisable. Create your own menus.
    hope this helps

We are using Access 97. There is no customize under tools and when you right click on a menu item, nothing happens.

I can't believe there is no customize under tools menu. I can tell you later when I open the PC that has access97, may be tomorrow. You can right click & bring the properties only if you open the customize dialog first.

I figured out how to do it. I found the answer on Microsofts web site.

    Thank you .
