    Unhappy Unanswered: Drop and recreate table

    Hi,

    can someone help me plz,
    i have a table in my DB called Users, i have dropped it to rearrange columns, but now when i try to create the table again i get the following error:

    create table Users
    *

    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object

    create table Users
    *

    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object
    No errors.
    All advice welcome!!!

    Perhaps you didn't really drop the table because of enabled foreign key(s)?
    (See if you'll have to use 'USERS' instead of 'users' in Anacedent's query.)

    And my comment is why do you want to reorder your table. It makes NO difference in the speed of your select, deletes, or update and you can return the columns in any order anyway.
