    Unanswered: Simple question about reports

Lets say I have 2 fields named [DateIn] and [DateOut]. I want to display the following in a single box : From December 3 2005 to December 25 2005. Where DateIn is December 3rd 2005 and DateOut is december 25th,...

I'm able to do it with the following code in my message box:

    = "From " & [DateIn] & " to " & [DateOut]

But the problem is on my report I only see 12/03/2005 instead of seeing the full long date. I tried changing the box format properties to long date but it wouldnt work.

Anyone have an idea what I have to do to display the long format?

Thanks, but I just found out that I had to format it in my table so it is displayed this way.

I spoke too quickly,... doesnt work, I thought my table was formatted to give me a short date, but it was formatted to a long date...

What did you mean by formatting it manually?

    Hi,

Use the Format function in the control source.

Here's a silly thought.....is it as simple as making the width of the text box larger?
