Unanswered: MS Access crash when connecting MySQL

    Hello,

I have an Access DB that tracks pupils in a school.
I wanted to roll it out for up to 80 users so MYSQL backend seemed to make sense.

I now have it that I can browse the tables from remote locations after some messing around. I can add and delete info from the tables as if they were on my local machine.

The problem is that whenever I open a form that uses these tables in Access I get a crash (in Access only). This is even in design view.

I created a new form using the data from a linked table and it opened with no trouble, but I need the forms that I allready have if at all possible.

Any ideas why this may be happening and sorry if this is the wrong place to post?

    Thanks,
    ChrisOfCatford

    Solved the problem,

I redesigned all of the tables and the problem has gone. Not sure why this was happening still.
