    Unanswered: new user dumb ????

    I've split my database and would like to upload table to the web and access them. Can this be done? I have a ftp site as well.

    if you have Access 2000 and above you can create a Data Access Page to view your data in Access on the web. You will need to read the Access help to see all the details, but there are wizards to help you

    Data Access pages work well if all viewers have a required Office library. If they do not have Office installed on their local machine they can't view the page. You can install the required library but its a licensceing issue (it costs).

    if you want to display inforamtion from your database then you probably need to go down some form of scripting either ASP or PHP spring to mind, but there are other solutions
