    Unanswered: Send E-mail via Access

    Hello.

    Quick question...

Is it possible to be able to click on an e-mail address on one of my forms and have Access open the user's default mail application in order to send an e-mail to that address? I tried setting the field's format properties to "Is Hyperlink", but that seems to only work for web page addresses.

    Thanks in advance,

    TS

If it is just a label you can set the hyperlink address value of it to mailto:name@domain.com

Additionally if you want it in a table you can either select the text box you want the email address in, or the field in a table and then go to the insert menu and select "Hyperlink..." This will allow you to insert an email address that shows name@domain.com but goes to mailto:name@domain.com
