    Unanswered: DOS and VB codes

    Hey guys,

When writing the VB code, does it matter if at times i use language designed for DOS prompt? Will this cause some problem?

Typical example, within all my vb code theres a linke mkdir(Path) which I was told wasn't the best code to use for VB because its dos.

Thats only 1 in a bundle of codes though

Well, they are part of the VBA library (FileSystem module), and have been used in VB/VBA for some time, so there should be no problem. They are part of the VB/VBA language.

If you wish, you could look into the FileSystemObject from the Microsoft Scripting Runtime library, having similar methods.
