    Unanswered: Import Problem

    Hi,

    I'm install oracle 9.2.0.1.0 on linux HR9. Now i'm trying to import data from a dump file which is export from same oracle version. it gives following errors

    I'm afraid you didn't understand Duck well, Momin ... EXP is Oracle utility and it's OK that you use it; CATEXP.SQL, on the other hand ISN'T and you can't use it for exporting data; this file is used to create the export views (and is used whild performing export/import between different database versions) and, also, allows full and incremental DB export and full DB import). Wouldn't cost much to run it and see if it helps. However, I've read that it shouldn't be run during production time on your database as it contains quite a lot DDL statements.
