    Unanswered: Entering dates using calendar.

    Hello everyone,

I'm trying to figure out how to enter a date into a field using a calender.

I want to place a button next to a field that when clicked will show a calender, then the user clicks on a date and the field gets populated with the date they choose.

can someone point me in the right directions.

    TIA,
    Jovix

There is an Calendar Control as OLE Object delivered with Access. You can easily add it to a form using the "More controls" icon from the toolbar (depicts hammer and wrench?). With just a bit of code you can alter the visibilty of the control by your button or place on another form that you pop up.

...that was exactly the purpose behind my .activecontrol question on a subform: i use an application-wide date-entry popup which works fine for main forms but stumbled on subforms and subsubforms (now fixed )

it's time for tv & buckets of red wine now, but if you don't get a decent solution by tomorrow morning i'll post the revised popup.
