    Unanswered: Form design problem...

    Hi guys,

    SITUATION -

I have a table that groups my clients informations named tblClients. I also have a table that groups all contracts information (tblContracts), of course, each contract is linked to a client.

    PROBLEM -

I have a form that is based on the client table, and I would like to build a sub-form in it that would show me all active contracts of the selected client and let me add or remove contracts without having to specify the client number on each time. Is there a way to do that?

In other words, Id like to be able to put a default value in the ClientNum field of the table tblContracts that would change depending of the selected record in my form based on tblClients.

    but HOW???...

    Thanks in advance!

Build a query that sorts the contracts by the current client number. Set the query as the control source for your subform and assuming you already have the proper 1-to-many relationship between the client-and-contract tables, you should be all set.
